REMOVAL
1.
Remove two nuts (Figure 1, Item 3) and lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 2) holding blackout light
(Figure 1, Item 5) to semitrailer frame (Figure 1, Item 1). Discard lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 2).
2.
Partially pull blackout light (Figure 1, Item 5) away from semitrailer frame (Figure 1, Item 1).
3.
Remove tiedown straps from wiring harness. Discard tiedown straps.
4.
Disconnect connectors (Figure 1, Items 4 and 6) from main wiring harness.
5.
Remove blackout light (Figure 1, Item 5) from semitrailer.
END OF TASK
INSTALLATION
1.
Thread blackout light wires through semitrailer mounting holes and semitrailer electrical harness clip and
connect blackout light and harness connectors (Figure 1, Items 4 and 6) to main wiring harness.
2.
Install new tiedown straps to wiring harness.
3.
Install blackout light (Figure 1, Item 5) on semitrailer frame (Figure 1, Item 1) with two nuts (Figure 1, Item 3)
and new lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 2).

Connect power source and test electrical system for proper operation.

Install taillight (WP 0045).
