WARNING
The use of a step stool may be required if operator cannot reach the hydraulic
system control levers. Failure to be at the proper operating height may cause
improper lever and semitrailer movement. Failure to comply may result in death or
injury to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
Semitrailer and towing vehicle may roll when brakes are released. To prevent
injury to personnel or damage to equipment, the operator must remain in the cab
of the towing vehicle. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to personnel.
Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
NOTE
The semitrailer is equipped with an Electronic Control Unit (ECU)/modulator valve that
provides air to the reservoirs first. The spring brakes will remain set until the air pressure
reaches 80-82 psi (551.6 kPa-565.4 kPa), then the modulator portion of the
ECU/modulator valve allows air to begin flowing to release the spring brakes and operate
the service brakes.
12.
Turn on towing vehicle lights and ensure all semitrailer clearance, running, tail, turn signal, Anti-lock Brake
System (ABS), and brake lights operate properly.
