With ridge reamer, remove carbon ridge (2) at top of cylinder liner (3) above upper travel limit of top piston ring.
NOTE
Ensure connecting rods and caps are stamped with correct location number. If not stamped, stamp correct
location (1 through 6) on tang side (cooler side) of rod cap and rod.
4.
Remove two connecting rod cap nuts (4), connecting rod cap (5), and lower connecting rod bearing shell (6).
