NOTE
•
Ensure tapered side of snap ring is installed away from bearing.
•
Ensure snap ring is fully seated in groove of accessory drive shaft.

Install snap ring (13) in groove of accessory drive shaft (9).
NOTE
Word INSTALL and an arrow are etched on needle bearing installer/remover to aid in installation. Place
needle bearing installation numbers up against needle bearing installer/remover.
3.
Install new needle bearing (11) in accessory drive housing (1). Using long end of service kit needle bearing installer/
remover (10), press needle bearing into accessory drive housing flush to 0.02 in (0.5 mm) below bottom of oil seal coun-
terbore.
