ADJUSTMENT
1.
Raise deck lever (Figure 1, Item 6) until deck is fully raised.
2.
While continuing to hold deck lever (Figure 1, Item 6) in raised position, check psi reading on pressure gage
(Figure 1, Item 1). Reading should be 900-1,100 psi (6,205.28-6,894.76 kPa). If reading is higher than
1,100 psi (7,584.23 kPa) or lower than 900 psi (6,205.28 kPa), adjust pressure by adjusting hydraulic relief
valve (Figure 1, Item 5) as follows:
a.
Remove small barrel nut (Figure 1, Item 3) on hydraulic relief valve (Figure 1, Item 5) and loosen
jamnut (Figure 1, Item 4).
WARNING
DO NOT exceed 1,100 psi (7,584.2 kPa). Failure to comply may result in death or
injury to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
b.
Rotate six-sided Allen stud (Figure 1, Item 2) on hydraulic relief valve (Figure 1, Item 5) clockwise to
raise pressure setting, or counterclockwise to lower pressure setting.
c.
Retighten jamnut (Figure 1, Item 4) and reinstall barrel nut (Figure 1, Item 3).
d.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2. If pressure reading is still not correct, verify pressure on towing vehicle
supply system.
