REMOVAL
1.
Release all pressure from hydraulic lines by disconnecting gooseneck hydraulics from power.
CAUTION
Cap or plug all ports and hose ends to prevent contamination of hydraulic oil. Failure to
comply may result in damage to, or destruction of, equipment or mission.
NOTE
Tag all wires, hoses, tubing, and connections prior to removal for ease of installation.
2.
Disconnect four hydraulic lines (Figure 1, Item 1) from pressure relief valve (Figure 1, Item 3) inlet and outlet
ports and cap or tape closed openings in ports and lines.
3.
Loosen and remove two self-locking nuts (Figure 1, Item 2) securing pressure relief valve (Figure 1, Item 3)
to gooseneck and disconnect pressure relief valve from mounting studs. Discard self-locking nuts
(Figure 1, Item 2).

Remove all fittings from hydraulic pressure relief valve.

INSPECTION
Inspect fittings for damage and replace as needed.
