ASSEMBLY
Install all fittings onto hydraulic pressure relief valve.
END OF TASK
INSTALLATION
1.
Install pressure relief valve (Figure 1, Item 3) onto gooseneck mounting studs with two new self-locking nuts
(Figure 1, Item 2). Torque nuts to 9 lb ft (12.2 Nm).
2.
Remove tape and/or caps from four hydraulic lines (Figure 1, Item 1) and pressure relief valve
(Figure 1, Item 3) inlet and outlet ports and apply anti-seizing tape to threads of hydraulic lines. Reconnect
and tighten lines (Figure 1, Item 1) to appropriate ports as directed by tags during removal procedure.
3.
Pressurize system and check for leaks.
