INSPECTION
Inspect fittings for damage and replace as needed.

ASSEMBLY
Install all fittings onto hydraulic control valve.
END OF TASK
INSTALLATION
1.
Remove tape or cap from control valve (Figure 1, Item 1) pressure gage port.
2.
Apply antiseizing tape to threads of pressure gage (Figure 1, Item 2), thread gage onto control valve
(Figure 1, Item 1), and orient gage to vertical position.
3.
Install hydraulic control valve (Figure 1, Item 1) onto inside wall of gooseneck with three mounting bolts
(Figure 1, Item 5), washers (Figure 1, Item 6), and new self-locking nuts (Figure 1, Item 7). Torque nuts to
35 lb ft (47.45 Nm).
4.
Remove tape and/or cap from pressure gage hydraulic line (Figure 1, Item 3).
5.
Apply antiseizing tape to threads of connector, and connect and tighten pressure gage hydraulic line
(Figure 1, Item 3) to pressure gage (Figure 1, Item 2).
6.
Remove tape and/or caps from five hydraulic lines (Figure 1, Item 4) to be connected to inlet and outlet
ports of control valve (Figure 1, Item 1) and apply antiseizing tape to threads of connectors.
7.
Connect and tighten five hydraulic lines (Figure 1, Item 4) to appropriate ports on control valve
(Figure 1, Item 1) as directed by tags attached during removal procedure.
8.
Pressurize system and check for leaks leaks (WP 0066).
