General Safety Instructions:
WARNING
l Rear-rear axle differential carrier weighs
860 lb (390 kg). Attach suitable floor jack
prior to disassembly or assembly to
prevent possible injury to personnel.
l Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can give off
harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin
and clothing. To avoid injury or death,
keep away from open fire and use in well-
ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or
sealing compound gets on skin or clothing,
wash immediately with soap and water.
l Ring gear is heavy and can injure
personnel if dropped. Do not put hands
under ring gear.
