NOTE
Engine and transmission oil sample valves are replaced the same way. Engine oil sample valve is illustrated.
REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect hose (1) from connector (2).
2.
Remove connector (2) and bushing (3) from oil cooler.
3.
Remove hose (1) from elbow (4).
4.
Remove elbow (4) and sample valve (5) from bracket (6).
5.
Remove lock nut (7), washer (8), screw (9), washer (10), and bracket (6) from mounting bracket (11). Discard lock nut.
