REMOVAL
1.
Release all pressure from hydraulic lines by disconnecting gooseneck hydraulics from power source.
CAUTION
Cap or plug all ports and hose ends to prevent contamination of hydraulic oil. Failure to
comply may result in damage to, or destruction of, equipment or mission.
2.
Tag and disconnect two hydraulic lines (Figure 1, Item 4) from tilt cylinder (Figure 1, Item 3) and cap or
seal lines.
3.
Support gooseneck tilt arm (Figure 1, Item 5).
WARNING
The cylinder weight is approximately 150 lb (68 kg). Use extreme caution when handling
the cylinder. Assistance will be needed when handling the cylinder. Failure to comply may
result in death or injury to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
4.
Remove upper and lower locking pins (Figure 1, Item 1) from tilt arm and withdraw cylinder attaching pins
(Figure 1, Item 2). Discard locking pins (Figure 1, Item 1).
5.
Remove tilt cylinder (Figure 1, Item 3).
