WARNING
Improper cleaning methods and use of unauthorized cleaning solvents may injure

Cloths or rags saturated with solvent cleaning compound must be disposed of
using IAW authorized facilities procedures. Failure to comply may result in death or
injury to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

Remove grease and oil with solvent cleaning compound. Dry thoroughly.
3.
Lubricate. Refer to (WP 0093).

1.
Inspect for damage and condition of splines.
2.
Inspect for rust or corrosion.

Replace defective or missing parts.

INSTALLATION
1.
Set jamnut (Figure 2, Item 2) 2.62 in. (5.75 cm) from air chamber.
2.
Slide slack adjuster nut (Figure 2, Item 3) on air chamber shaft (Figure 2, Item 1) until it contacts jamnut
(Figure 2, Item 2).
