AIR RESERVOIR SERVICE CHECK
1.
Turn off air supply to semitrailer.
WARNING
Wear eye protection when checking for air leaks. Failure to comply may result in death or
injury to personnel. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to personnel. Seek
medical attention in the event of an injury.
2.
Disconnect gladhands.
3.
Pull on front and rear air reservoir dump valve release cables (Figure 1, Items 1 and 2) and allow air
reservoir to drain fully, then release dump valve cables (Figure 1, Items 1 and 2).

4.
Connect gladhands.
5.
Turn on air supply to semitrailer at towing vehicle.
6.
Check for air leaks. Listen for hissing sounds and feel for escaping air. A soapy water solution will aid in
detecting air leaks.
