INITIAL SETUP:

Brush, Scrub (WP 0143, Table 1, Item 5)
Rag, Wiping (WP 0143, Table 1, Item 21)
CLEANING
WARNING
Remove all power to semitrailer prior to making any repairs on the electrical system.
Failure to comply may result in death or injury to personnel. Seek medical attention in the
event of an injury.
1.
Disconnect inter-vehicular electrical cables (Figure 1, Items 1 and 2) from towing vehicle to semitrailer and
from semitrailer to gooseneck (Figure 1, Item 3).
2.
Use a rag to remove any buildup of grease or dirt from exterior of connector and receptacle.
3.
Use a brush to clean metal surfaces.
