3. Install upper and lower windshield brackets as follows (see Figure 3-4):
a. Locate four windshield brackets (1) against upper and lower edges of cab windshield opening using
template (2).
b. Secure upper windshield brackets (1) to cab at locations determined by template (2) by tightening
five setscrews (3) in each bracket (1). Add Loctite to threads.
c. Secure lower windshield brackets (1) to cab at locations determined by template (2) by finger-tightening
five setscrews (3) in each bracket (1).
NOTE
Care should be taken to ensure that brackets are installed with the studs perpendicular to the cab
windshield frame.
