7.2 Hood Spacer Installation (M915-A2 and M916-A1)
Perform this step prior to Step 5.2 in the main installation sequence.

1) Remove the bolt that attaches each hood hinge to the front cross member. Using an
appropriate lifting device, lift the hood and insert one spacer, P/N 113512-1, under each
hinge. Re-attach using 1/2" x 3-1/2" bolts, 1/2" flat washers, and 1/2" locknuts. Torque to
122 Nm (90 lb-ft) (See Figure 7-5).
IMPORTANT
The hinges have slotted holes to adjust the hood forward or rearward. Install the hood
initially in its forward-most position and then re-adjust to allow for best fit and
engagement with the hood clamps after the entire kit has been installed.
