TEST 13 - Is continuity measured on heavy-duty winch remote control unit blue wire?
WARNING
Ensure electrical power is off prior to working on all electrical connections. Failure to comply
may result in injury or death to personnel.
Remove all jewelry such as rings, ID tags, bracelets, etc. prior to working on or around
vehicle. Jewelry and tools can catch on equipment, contact positive electrical circuits, and
cause a direct short, severe burns, or electrical shock. Failure to comply may result in injury
or death to personnel.
1. Set multimeter switch to ohms.
2. Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter to blue wire at four terminal connector, terminal 4. Refer to schematics.
