Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter to wire 1849 at HIGH IDLE ON/OFF switch terminal.

Multimeter should display a reading less than 200 ohms. Note reading.

Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter to wire 1854 at remote control cable connector, terminal C.

Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter to wire 1854/1854B at HIGH IDLE ON/OFF switch other terminal.

Multimeter should display a reading less than 200 ohms. Note reading.
