AIR COMPRESSOR GOVERNOR REPLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT - CONTINUED

ADJUSTMENT
1.
Remove cover (7) from governor (5).
2.
Loosen adjusting screw lock nut (8).
NOTE
Pressure range between compressor cut-in and cut-out is not adjustable. To raise pressure settings, turn
adjusting screw counterclockwise. To lower pressure settings, turn adjusting screw clockwise.
3.
While assistant monitors primary pressure gage, turn adjusting screw (9) until proper cut-out pressure is obtained. When
proper pressure is reached, tighten adjusting screw lock nut (8).
4.
Install cover (7) on governor (5).
