REMOVAL
WARNING
Wear eye protection when dump valve is not operating properly, as air pressure may not
be relieved from air tank. Use extreme caution when removing dump valve. Failure to
comply may result in death or injury to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of
an injury.
1.
Open dump valve on all air reservoirs and allow air pressure to bleed off.
2.
Remove clevis (Figure 1, Item 5) from air brake chamber (Figure 1, Item 6).
3.
Disconnect two air lines (Figure 1, Item 1) from air chamber (Figure 1, Item 6).
4.
Remove two fittings (Figure 1, Item 2) from air chamber (Figure 1, Item 6).
5.
Remove two nuts (Figure 1, Item 4), lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 3), and air chamber (Figure 1, Item 6) from
