REMOVAL
NOTE
For front 24-volt receptacle, follow Steps 1 through 4.
For rear 24-volt receptacle, follow Steps 5 through 8.
1.
Lower semitrailer to ground and raise platform lever (Figure 1, Item 1) to allow gooseneck to drop to its
lowest position.
2.
Remove tiedown straps (Figure 1, Item 19) and clips (Figure 1, Item 18) from wiring harness. Discard
tiedown straps (Figure 1, Item 19).
3.
Remove keeper pin (Figure 1, Item 20) and unplug receptacle harness (Figure 1, Item 16).
4.
Remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 14), self-locking nuts (Figure 1, Item 17), washers (Figure 1, Item 13), and
receptacle (Figure 1, Item 15) from frame (Figure 1, Item 9). Discard self-locking nuts (Figure 1, Item 17).
5.
Remove two nuts (Figure 1, Item 4), clamps (Figure 1, Item 6), and four tiedown straps (Figure 1, Item 3)
securing harness. Discard tiedown straps (Figure 1, Item 3).
6.
Remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 12), self-locking nuts (Figure 1, Item 8), flat washers (Figure 1, Item 11),
and separate receptacle cover (Figure 1, Item 10) from frame (Figure 1, Item 9). Discard self-locking nuts
(Figure 1, Item 8).
7.
Remove keeper pin (Figure 1, Item 2), unplug harness (Figure 1, Item 7), and remove from gooseneck.
8.
Remove grommet (Figure 1, Item 5) from gooseneck.

INSTALLATION
NOTE
For front 24-volt receptacle, follow Steps 1 through 4.
For rear 24-volt receptacle, follow Steps 5 through 8.
1.
Position receptacle harness (Figure 1, Item 16) on gooseneck frame (Figure 1, Item 9).
2.
Connect receptacle harness (Figure 1, Item 16) to main wiring harness and install keeper pin
(Figure 1, Item 20).
3.
Install new tiedown straps (Figure 1, Item 19) and clips (Figure 1, Item 18) to wiring harness.
4.
Install receptacle cover (Figure 1, Item 15) on gooseneck frame (Figure 1, Item 9) with four screws
(Figure 1, Item 14), washers (Figure 1, Item 13), and new self-locking nuts (Figure 1, Item 17).
5.
Install receptacle harness (Figure 1, Item 7) on gooseneck frame (Figure 1, Item 9) and feed through
grommet (Figure 1, Item 5). Install grommet (Figure 1, Item 5) on gooseneck frame (Figure 1, Item 9).
6.
Connect receptacle harness (Figure 1, Item 7) to main wiring harness and install keeper pin
(Figure 1, Item 2).
NOTE
Be sure receptacle is installed with the keyway in the down position.
7.
Install receptacle cover (Figure 1, Item 10) on gooseneck frame (Figure 1, Item 9) with four bolts
(Figure 1, Item 12), washers (Figure 1, Item 11), and new self-locking nuts (Figure 1, Item 8).
8.
Install two clamps (Figure 1, Item 6), nuts (Figure 1, Item 4), and four new tiedown straps (Figure 1, Item 3).
