UNCOUPLING GOOSENECK FROM TOWING VEHICLE - Continued
WARNING
The hydraulic system operates under extremely high pressure. Before disconnecting the
hydraulic inlet and outlet lines check the hydraulic gage to ensure there is no pressure in
the lines. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to personnel. Seek medical
attention in the event of an injury.
6.
Disengage PTO on towing vehicle to relieve hydraulic pressure.
7.
Disconnect hydraulic inlet and outlet lines from towing vehicle to gooseneck hydraulic connectors
(Figure 17, Item 1), wipe connectors clean, install dust covers, and store lines in gooseneck forward
storage box.
