WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to per-
sonnel.
NOTE
Roof armor weighs 406 lb (184 kg).

Using lifting device, remove roof armor (7) from cab roof.
8.
Remove seven locknuts (1) and stud plates (16) from roof armor (7). Discard locknuts.
9.
Remove sling and lifting device from roof armor (7).
10.
Remove four locknuts (13), washers (14), bolts (15), and lifting eyes (12) from roof armor (7).

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Clean and inspect all parts IAW General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0011 00).
