Observe engine operation. Check if engine speed increases to 1,500 RPM.

Set heavy-duty winch remote control unit HIGH IDLE ON/OFF switch to OFF position. (WP 0015)

Set PTO ENGAGE switch to OFF position. (WP 0015)
8.
Shut OFF engine (refer to TM 9-2320-279-10).

Does high idle operate when selected at heavy-duty winch remote control unit?
DECISION
No - Troubleshoot: High Idle Does Not Operate. (WP 0024)
Yes - Test 3 - Is continuity measured on remote control cable wire 1681, 1682, and 1435?
