OPERATION UNDER UNUSUAL CONDITIONS

CAUTION
Special care should be taken when operating the M983A2 LET in unusual weather/
environment, while fording a water obstacle, in off-road conditions, etc. as it is NOT
equipped with either a self-recovery winch or snatch block. Operator may not be able to
self-recover mired vehicle. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
Read and follow the procedures in Operation Under Unusual Conditions in TM
9-2320-279-10-1 before operating the M983A2 LET in any unusual or off-road environment.
1. There are no additional M983A2 LET specific instructions for operation under unusual conditions.
