DOOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - MODEL B - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION
N OT E
Only install top bolt and two bottom bolts on door hinge. The remaining two bolt holes will be used for the
door stop.
1.
Install door hinge (10), three washers (12), and bolts (11) on side of vehicle.
2.
Install door stop (5), two washers (7), and bolts (6) on door hinge (10).
3.
Install two washers (9) and bolts (8) on door hinge stop(s) (10).
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to per-
sonnel.
N OT E
Door assembly weighs 336 lb (153 kg).
4.
Attach sling and lifting device to lifting link (3) at top of door assembly (4).
5.
Use lifting device to position door assembly (4) on door hinge (10).
6.
Install five washers (2) and bolts (1) on door assembly (4).
7.
Remove sling and lifting device from lifting link (3).
8.
Verify correct operation of door assembly (WP 0004 00).
9.
If removed, install outside mirror on door assembly (TM 9-2320-279-20).
