Disconnect spring (7) from door (8).
2.
Remove locknut (3) and disconnect link rod (6) from
latch (2). Discard locknut.

Remove three locknuts (4), washers (5), bolts (1), and
latch (2) from door (8). Discard locknuts.

4.
Remove four bolts (10), washers (11), and combat
lock (9) from door (8).

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Clean and inspect all parts IAW General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0011 00).
INSTALLATION
1.
Install combat lock (9), four washers (11), and bolts (10) on door (8).
2.
Install latch (2), three bolts (1), washers (5), and new locknuts (4) on door (8).
3.
Connect link rod (6) and install new locknut (3) on latch (2).
4.
Connect spring (7) to door (8).
5.
Verify correct operation of door assembly (WP 0004 00).
