Check OPS
Connectors
l Inspect terminals at the OPS
connectors (sensor side and
harness side) for damage; bent,
corroded, and unseated pins or
sockets.

for Short
l Turn ignition off.
l Disconnect the engine harness
connector at the ECM.
l Read resistance between sockets
WI and P2 on the engine harness
connector.

for Short to
Battery +
l Removeboth fuses to the
ECM.
l Disconnect the vehicle harness
and 6-way power harness
connectors at the ECM.
l Read resistance between socket
P2 of the engine harness
connector and socket B3 of the
vehicle harness connector.
l Also read resistance between
socket P2 on the engine harness
connector and the following
sockets on the 6-way prover
harness connector: A, B, E and F.
