ECM
Connector
l Turn off ignition.
l Disconnect vehicle harness
connector
at the ECM.
l Check terminals at the vehicle
harness connector (both the ECM
and harness side) for damaged,
bent, corroded,
and unseated
pins or sockets.

Verify
Repairs
l Reconnect all connectors.
. Start engine and check if engine
brake enable/transmission
retarder feature functions properly,
