DISASSEMBLY - CONTINUED
INSPECTION
Inspect crankshaft for galling, pitting, cracks or other damage. Replace if damaged.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Position rear cover (48) face down on press bed.
NOTE
Ensure slot in bearing is lined up with oil passage in rear cover.
2.
Position crankshaft rear sleeve bearing (53) in bore of rear cover (48) with slot in bearing lined up with oil passage.
3.
Press crankshaft rear sleeve bearing (53) in bore of rear cover (48) until flush.
