WARNING
Camshaft weighs 53 lb (24 kg). Attach suitable lifting device prior to installation to prevent possible injury
to personnel.

Using non-metallic sling, lower camshaft (5) into position and slide forward, ensuring camshaft dowel (27) aligns with
mating hole in camshaft drive gear hub (28). This will position camshaft bearing journals in lower camshaft bearing
shells.
