CLEANING
1.
Clean all removed parts and components in detergent and water.
WARNING
Compressed air used for cleaning or drying purposes, or for clearing restrictions, should never exceed 30 psi
(207 kPa). Wear protective clothing (goggles/shield, gloves, etc.) and use caution to avoid injury to person-
nel.
2.
Use compressed air to clean all oil passages.
INSPECTION
1.
Inspect camshaft lobes and journals for scoring, pitting or flat spots. If camshaft is scored, inspect camshaft follower
rollers.
