C. INSTALLATION.
Mismatched tires will make truck handle poorly and
may cause accidents. All tires on an axle should have
the same diameter, ± 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) when replac-
ing a tire, measure it and the other tires on the axle to
be sure that the distances from top to bottom do not
vary by more than 1/4 inch (6.4 mm). Use a depth
gage to measure tires.
9. Tire (1), tube (6),
a. Place tube in tire.

c. Lubricate both beads of
tire with soap solution.
