Always remove the valve core and exhaust all
air from a single tire and from both tires of a
dual assembly prior to removing any rim
components, or any wheel components, such
as nuts and rim clamps.
Check the valve stem by running a piece of
wire through the stem to make sure it is not
plugged.
1. Valve cap (8).
Remove.
Cap can also be used to
remove core.
2. Valve stem (7).
Remove core with valve core
removing tool, or valve cap.
