INSTALLATION
WARNING
Note appropriate location where holes will be drilled in boards. DO NOT place hands or
feet in this area when holding boards. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
1.
Install board (Figure 2, Item 2) in deck (Figure 2, Item 5). Check for proper fit.
WARNING
Wear eye protection when using electric drill. Failure to comply may result in death or injury
to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
2.
Drill holes in board (Figure 2, Item 2).
3.
Drive screw (Figure 2, Item 1) into board (Figure 2, Item 2) as far as possible. Repeat for remaining holes.
4.
Install clip (Figure 2, Item 3) and nut (Figure 2, Item 4) on screw (Figure 2, Item 1). Tighten nut
(Figure 2, Item 4) until head of screw (Figure 2, Item 1) is fully sealed.
5.
Repeat Step 4 for rest of clips, screws, and nuts.
