SYMPTOM
AIR RESERVOIRS FAIL TO FILL WITH AIR
MALFUNCTION
AIR RESERVOIRS NOT FILLING CORRECTLY
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
If open, close dump valve.
2.
If damaged, repair (WP 0067).
3.
Inspect parking brake on towing vehicle. If engaged, release parking brake.
4.
Inspect gladhands for damage or incorrect coupling. If damaged, refer to (WP 0063).
5.
Inspect air lines and connections for leaks. Feel for escaping air and/or use soapy water
solution to detect leaks.
a.
If loose, tighten connections.
b.
If damaged, repair air lines or connections (WP 0070) and (WP 0071).
6.
Inspect air reservoirs for damage or leaks.
a.
If loose, tighten connections.
b.
Repair or replace reservoirs as necessary (WP 0064) or (WP 0065).
