EMERGENCY EGRESS REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Pull exit strap (7) and pull open emergency egress door (10).
2.
Loosen two jamnuts (13) at the top and bottom left side of emergency egress door (10).
3.
Remove two bolts (12), jamnuts (13), and washers (14) from emergency egress door (10).
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during
procedure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
Use caution when handling window glass. Glass can break unexpectedly during removal/installation
procedure. Wear face shield, apron, and gloves. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury to per-
sonnel.
4.
With assistance, remove four bolts (15), lockwashers (16), washers (17), and emergency egress door (10) from emer-
gency egress frame (11). Discard lockwashers.
5.
With assistance, remove four bolts (18), lockwashers (19), washers (20), emergency egress door cover (1), and mark
threat side of ballistic glass (9) then remove from emergency egress door (10). Discard lockwashers.
6.
Remove two bolts (3), lockwashers (4), washers (5), bracket (2), nut plate (8), and emergency egress frame (11) from
rear cab armor frame (6). Discard lockwashers.
