REMOVAL
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to per-
sonnel.
1.
Attach a sling to armored door (10).
2.
Attach lifting device to sling on armored door (10).
3.
Using lifting device, hold armored door suspended and remove hinge pin (11) and armored door (10) from door frame
assembly (5).
4.
Remove lifting device from sling on door assembly (10).
5.
Remove sling from door assembly (10).
6.
Remove two locknuts (1), washers (2), bolts (4), and washers (3) from door frame assembly (5). Discard locknuts.
7.
Remove six bolts (12), washers (13), and lockwashers (14) from door frame assembly (5). Discard lockwashers.
8.
Remove six locknuts (6), washers (7), bolts (9), and washers (8) from door frame assembly (5). Discard locknuts.
