2. With the aid of an assistant, remove nine locknuts (2) and screws (3) from passenger side heavy-duty winch
mount (1) and passenger side frame (4). Discard locknuts.
3. With the aid of an assistant, remove two locknuts (5) and screws (6) from passenger side heavy-duty winch
mount (1) and passenger side frame (4). Discard locknuts.
WARNING
Transfer case weighs 850 lbs (386 kg) and must be adequately supported before hardware
is removed from transfer case mounts. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel.
