If necessary, remove seal (38) from side of cab.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Clean and inspect all parts IAW General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0011 00).
INSTALLATION
1.
If removed, install seal (38) by removing backing and apply to side of cab.
2.
Install support bracket (17), nine washers (20), and bolts (21) on side of vehicle.
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to per-
sonnel.
CAU T I ON
Do not lift side armor with lifting eye on door. Use two lifting eyes located on side armor.
N OT E
Side armor weighs 360 lb (163 kg) without door installed.
