D. CHART 2. ENGINE CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START (Cont’d.)
STEP/SEQUENCE
C2-21 Check for +12 or +24
Volts at Ignition Wire
l Turn ignition off.
l Disconnect the vehicle harness
connector at the ECM.
l Turn ignition on.
l Read voltage between socket B3
on the vehicle harness connector
(red lead) and a good ground
(black lead).
C2-22 Check for Good
Ground Wire
l Read voltage between socket B3
on the vehicle harness connector
and socket C and Don the 6-way.
power harness connector.
C2-23 Check if Ignition Fuse
is Okay
l Turn ignition off.
l check 5 Amp ignition fuse.

is open or has a poor connection.
