l Check continuity of ground wife from ABS
wiring harness connector to chassis ground
(see wiring diagram, page 3-100.52).

l Is open detected?
l check continuity of ground wire from chassis
ground to breakout box pin 27 (see wiring
diagram, page 3-100.52).
l Is open detected?
• Disconnect sensor cable.
l Check modulator valve resistance at modu-
lator valve.
l Measure resistance from intake and exhaust
pins to ground on male side of modulator
valve.
l Is resistance 4-8 ohm?
l Ground wire test okay?
l Check continuity of modulator valve wiring
on female side (Table E) (page 3-100.21.
