l Set multimeter to OHMS.
l Set multimeter range to 200 ohm range.
l Check continuity of wire 71A frorn ignition switch to
ABS indicator lamp wire X81C. -
• Is resistance 45-50 ohm?
CAUTION
When using a multimeter to perform resistance
(ohms) tests, prevent damage to the multimeter by
ensuring that all power is removed from the
equipment or circuit being tested.
l Repair and check ABS indicator lamp (page
4-309).
l Does lamp light?
CHECK IGNITION SWITCH
l Check continuity of ignition switch.
l Replace ignition switch (page 4-166).
l Does lamp light?
