Rear hub, bearings and seals replace-
ment is the same for both rear axles.
A. REMOVAL.
1. Lock (11).
Bend tabs away from item
(12) and item (10).
2. Nut (12).
Unscrew and remove.
3. Lock (11).
Remove.
Use locknut wrench.
Discard if tabs are
broken or badly mis-
shapen.
4. Nut (10).
Unscrew and remove.
Use locknut wrench.
5. Outer bearing cone
Remove.
assembly (9).
Do not drop.
6. Hub assembly (6).
Remove from item (1).
Items (2), (3), and (4)
are pressed into item
(6) and will follow.
7. Seal (2) and

a. Tap out with hammer
inner bearing cone
and drift.
assembly (3).
b. Discard item (2).
NOTE
It is not necessary to remove inner
and outer bearing cups unless they are
damaged or new bearings are installed.
