WARNING
Improper cleaning methods and use of unauthorized cleaning solvents may injure

Cloths or rags saturated with solvent cleaning compound must be disposed of
using IAW authorized facilities procedures. Failure to comply may result in death or
injury to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

Remove grease and oil with cleaning compound solvent and a rag. Dry thoroughly.
3.
Lubricate (WP 0093).

INSPECTION
1.
Inspect for damage and condition of splines.
2.
Inspect for rust or corrosion.
3.
Replace defective parts.

INSTALLATION
1.
Install cam bracket (Figure 3, Item 6) on axle bracket (Figure 3, Item 2) with four new self-tapping screws
(Figure 3, Item 5).
2.
Align new spider seal (Figure 3, Item 9), flat washers (Figure 3, Items 8 and 11), and retaining ring
(Figure 3, Item 7) and install camshaft (Figure 3, Item 10) in axle spider (Figure 3, Item 1) and cam bracket
(Figure 3, Item 6).
3.
Install flat washer (Figure 3, Item 4) on camshaft (Figure 3, Item 10).
4.
Expand retaining ring (Figure 3, Item 3) and install on camshaft (Figure 3, Item 10).
