Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
1.
With assistance, remove four bolts (1), washers (3), lockwashers (2), and cowl assembly (4) from vehicle. Discard lock-
washers.
2.
Remove four bolts (10), washers (12), lockwashers (11), and vent panel (9) from cowl armor (4). Discard lockwashers.
3.
Remove four bolts (5), washers (7), lockwashers (6), and two brackets (8) from cowl armor (4). Discard lockwashers.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Clean and inspect all parts IAW General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0011 00).
