Pull shift cable (10) through center underbody mine blast panel (9).

Place two 6 ft long 2 in. x 4 in. supports across truck frame (11), under cab.

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
5.
With assistance, remove eight nuts (6), lockwashers (7), washers (8) and center underbody mine blast panel (9), using 2
in. x 4 in. supports as a guide. Discard lockwashers.
6.
Remove two 6 ft long 2 in. x 4 in. supports.
