NOTE - This chart is only to be used if:
1) All basic mechanical checks and physical inspections have been performed with no problem found, and
2) Diagnosis of DDEC-III was started at step Start-1, pg 3-345.41 and you have now been referred here.
15-1 Code Check
Turn ignition on.
Plug in DDR and determine which
PID 110 - FMI 4
Go to 15-2.
code is present.
PID 175 - FMI 4
Go to 15-3.
NOTE: If any Flash codes(s) 14, 23, 24 or 33 are also present go to ENG5V-1 (page 3-345.413).
(SAE J1587 Code 052, 110/3, 174/3, 174/4, and 102/3).
15-2 Coolant Temp Sensor
Check
Turn ignition off.
Any codes
Go to 15-4.
Disconnect CTS connector
except Code 110/4.
Start engine and run until "Check
Engine" light comes on or after
Code 110/4 (and
