STEP/SEQUENCE
C5-4 Check ECM
Connectors
l Turn ignition off.
l Check terminals at the vehicle
harness connectors (both the ECM
and harness side) for damage:
bent, corroded and unseated pins
or sockets.
l Check terminals in connector to
be sure B1 is wire #419 and B3
is wire #439.
C5-30 Verify Repairs
l Turn ignition Off.
l Reconnect all connectors.
l Turn ignition on.
l Clear codes.
l Turn ignition off.
l Turn ignition on while at the same
time observing the "Check
Engine" light.
l If "check Engine" light stays on,
read historical code.
WHAT TO DO NEXT

page 3-2. Then go to C5-30.
