Check for Voltage
Perform the following steps to check for voltage.
1. Reconnect the engine sensor harness.
2. Measure voltage between cavity R1 and battery (-), ground.
[a] If the voltage measurement is greater than 4.5 volts, the wire is shorted to the voltage
supply. Replace the #907 wire, or replace the harness. Refer to section 17.3.6.
[b] If the voltage is less than 4.5 volts, refer to section 17.3.5.
